The quick release skinny drop shot weight is absolutely my only drop shot weight. It allows me to throw the drop shot in areas that will move through to where the fish are without getting hung up like using a bulkier style drop shot weight. The tungsten adds feel and helps to get those light bite hookups!

I put the drop shot to work on the upper Mississippi last week and these weights were great! The no chip coating on them is better than any others I have tried. I like the tie on weights when fun fishing so I don’t lose as many but use the crimp on style when fishing tournaments because I don’t mind losing a weight if it helps keep a big smallie pinned when trying to land them.
